Overhead Medicine Ball Lunge

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Medicine Ball

STARTING POSITION

Find the appropriately weighted medicine ball.

Put your arms in the air, holding medicine ball overhead.

PROCEDURE

  1. Make sure to keep your arms back and overhead.
  2. Step out and perform a lunge.
  3. Push upward with the front leg and bring the feet together.
  4. Repeat with the other side.

COACHING KEYS

  • Keep the pressure on the heel of the front legs foot.
  • When the arms are overhead, keep the elbows in line with your ears.

YOU SHOULD FEEL IT

In your thighs, core and shoulders.
