Kneeling Balance
DIFFICULTY LEVEL:
Difficult
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Fit Ball or DSL Ball
STARTING POSITION
Find the correct size Fit Ball for your height and place it against a wall.
PROCEDURE
- Using the wall for balance, climb onto the Fit Ball with your knees on top.
- Hold onto the wall for balance until you feel comfortable.
- Let go of the wall and use your “core” to maintain your stability.
COACHING KEYS
- Use a wall for balance until your knees are securely on the ball.
- Try and stay centered on the ball, this will help maintain stability.
YOU SHOULD FEEL IT
In your abdominals and hips.
SKI PURPOSE
Improves core stability, strength and balance. This will help enhance your balance on the slopes.
